Spinx #119 is in Greenwood SC, and is roughly a 5,800-square-foot convenience store with a full kitchen. This building consists of structural steel framing at the front wall, load-bearing metal stud back wall, and bar joist and decking roof system with a .60 mil TPO roof. The floor is stained concrete and epoxy floor coating in the kitchen. The exterior veneer is alternating colored Split faced CMU. It has the signature Spinx Blue metal canopies flanking the entry tower. The tower in this design has custom-ordered spandrel glazing in aluminum storefront framing. The carwash utilized the roll-over carwash system with a pre-engineered floor and fascia system. The walls are load-bearing eight inch split faced block with the same alternating colors to match the building. The single gas canopy has columns that are wrapped with the same split-faced block on a diagonal layout for more detail. The site is about an acre and a half and had at the deepest point 12 feet of fill materials hauled in. The parking lot is approximately 48,000 square feet of concrete paving with a compacted stone base.
